Is it safe from birth?

Yes. The Gentle Oat Wash is formulated specifically for young, sensitive skin and is safe to use from birth. It is soap-free, SLS-free and fragrance-free, with no parabens or harsh preservatives. The formula is based on sunflower oil and colloidal oat, which are well-tolerated by sensitive and eczema-prone skin.

Can I use it alongside prescribed treatment?

Yes. The Gentle Oat Wash is a rinse-off cleanser, not a medicine, and does not interfere with any prescribed topical treatment your GP or dermatologist has recommended. Apply prescribed creams or ointments after bathing and drying, once the skin is clean. If you are unsure, please check with your child’s doctor.

How is it different from other baby washes?

Most baby washes contain surfactants like SLS that can strip the skin’s natural oils. The Ovée Oat Wash is surfactant-free and soap-free — it cleanses gently using sunflower oil and colloidal oat, which are known to be well-tolerated by sensitive and eczema-prone skin.
