Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil
Sunflower Oil
The cornerstone of the Ovée formula. Rich in essential fatty acids and vitamins, sunflower oil is lightweight, non-comedogenic, and deeply hydrating. Multiple peer-reviewed studies confirm its effectiveness for babies and children with atopic eczema — it increases epidermal lipid synthesis, reduces inflammation, and has a documented steroid-sparing effect, meaning it may help reduce dependence on topical corticosteroids over time.

Avocado Oil
Rich in vitamins A, D and E, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids, avocado oil penetrates the skin barrier effectively — hydrating deeply and helping repair and calm irritated skin. It works synergistically with sunflower oil to create a balanced, nourishing base that is particularly suited to dry, sensitive or eczema-prone skin in children and adults alike.

Processed from sustainably grown Swedish oats to produce Oatlipid — a rich natural oil with a unique lipid profile and excellent absorbency. It moisturises and soothes without leaving a greasy residue, making it ideal for use on infants and young children. Our oats are grown free from GMOs and processed close to source to minimise environmental impact.

Jojoba Seed Oil
Jojoba oil closely resembles the skin's natural sebum — which is why it absorbs so readily and helps balance oil production. Well-documented anti-inflammatory properties make it exceptionally well-tolerated by reactive and sensitive skin in babies, children and adults. Unlike heavier oils, it won't clog pores or leave a residue.

Shea Butter
The hero ingredient in the Baby & Child range. Deeply moisturising and rich in fatty acids, shea butter creates a protective barrier that seals in moisture without the heaviness or greasiness of paraffin-based alternatives. Dr Tim specifically recommends it for its ability to mimic the skin's natural moisturising factors and provide lasting hydration for dry and eczema-prone skin.

Colloidal Oatmeal
A well-established ingredient in paediatric dermatology with documented calming and anti-inflammatory properties. Alleviates discomfort from dryness and irritation.

A natural emollient that deeply moisturises and nourishes. Anti-inflammatory — provides relief to skin affected by swelling, irritation and redness.

Aloe Vera

Soothing & Sealing
Bisabolol (from chamomile) reduces inflammation and soothes reactive skin. Glycerin is a humectant that attracts moisture to the skin and prevents water loss — especially important after bathing.
