Ovée Baby & Child Moisturising Cream (150ml) is a fragrance-free, paraffin-free, paraben-free, steroid-free daily moisturiser for babies and children with dry, sensitive and eczema-prone skin. Suitable from birth. 98% natural ingredients: oat, sunflower, jojoba and avocado oils. Developed by Dr Tim Clayton, Consultant Paediatric Dermatologist. Dermatologically tested. A cosmetic emollient, not a medicine; not available on NHS prescription. Covered by the 30-Day Skin Promise.
When your baby's skin is red, itchy and nothing seems to work — you deserve more than another cream that wasn't made for them.
Ovée Baby & Child Moisturising Cream was developed by Dr Tim Clayton — one of the UK's leading Consultant Paediatric Dermatologists, with over 25 years treating children with eczema at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. Not tested by a dermatologist after the fact. Built by one, from scratch, for babies and children with sensitive and eczema-prone skin.
Because most baby creams are formulated for marketing, not for skin.

Why parents trust Ovée
Rated 4.6 stars on Trustpilot. A finalist in the Mother & Baby Awards 2025. Featured on BBC, ITV and Channel 4.
But more than any award — parents tell us this is the first cream that actually worked after trying everything else.
How to use
Apply generously to the whole body, twice daily — morning and after bathing at night. Apply while skin is still warm from the bath to lock in moisture. Most parents see meaningful improvement within 2–4 weeks of consistent use.
Not sure whether what you are seeing is eczema? Dr Tim explains what eczema is, what causes it and how to recognise it.
Our 30-Day Skin Promise

Never run out mid-flare
Emollients only work when they're used every day, indefinitely. Dr Tim's most common frustration in clinic isn't parents using the wrong cream — it's parents who ran out on a Tuesday, left it three days, and lost a fortnight of progress.
Subscribe and the next bottle arrives before you run out. You'll get up to 15% off every delivery and free UK delivery with no minimum spend, and you can skip, pause or cancel from your account whenever you like — no email, no phone call.
Every delivery is covered by our 30-Day Skin Promise. Full detail on our Subscription Terms page.

Is it safe from birth?
Is it safe from birth?
Yes. Ovée Baby & Child Moisturising Cream is formulated specifically for young, sensitive skin and is safe to use from birth. It is free from parabens, paraffin and perfume — the ingredients most likely to cause irritation in newborns — and contains no fragrance or harsh preservatives. It has been dermatologically tested and is suitable for the whole family.
Can I use it alongside prescribed creams?
Can I use it alongside prescribed creams?
Yes. Ovée is a moisturiser (emollient), not a medicine, and is safe to use alongside any prescribed topical treatment your GP or dermatologist has recommended. As a general rule, apply the prescribed cream first to the affected areas, wait around 10–15 minutes, then apply Ovée over the whole area — Dr Tim explains the timing in his guide to using moisturiser alongside steroid cream. Always follow the instructions from your child’s doctor.
How is Ovée different from other baby creams?
How is Ovée different from other baby creams?
Most baby creams are formulated by cosmetics companies and dermatologist-tested afterwards. Ovée is the other way around — created from scratch by Dr Tim Clayton, a Consultant Paediatric Dermatologist with 25+ years of clinical experience treating children with eczema.
The formula is also paraffin-free (paraffin is the primary ingredient in many leading emollient creams), and uses natural oils — colloidal oat, shea butter, sunflower oil, avocado oil — chosen for their skin-barrier supporting evidence rather than label appeal.
Does it contain steroids, fragrance or paraffin?
Does it contain steroids, fragrance or paraffin?
No. The Baby & Child Moisturising Cream is steroid-free, fragrance-free, paraffin-free and paraben-free, with 98% natural ingredients — oat, sunflower, jojoba and avocado oils. It is a cosmetic emollient, not a medicine, so it can be used every day from birth. The full ingredients list is further down this page.
Is Ovée available on NHS prescription?
Is Ovée available on NHS prescription?
No. Ovée is a cosmetic emollient sold directly from this site, not a prescription medicine, so it is not available on the NHS. It was developed by Dr Tim Clayton, Consultant Paediatric Dermatologist at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. If your child already has a prescribed emollient that works, keep using it — Ovée can be used alongside it. See how Ovée compares with Aveeno Baby Dermexa, Childs Farm, Cetraben, Oilatum Junior and Epaderm, including where they are the better choice.
How often should I apply it?
How often should I apply it?
For dry or eczema-prone skin, at least twice a day, and more often during a flare-up. Apply in a smooth downward motion in the direction of hair growth rather than rubbing it in.
Keep moisturising even once the skin looks settled — stopping removes the one thing actively helping the barrier stay repaired.
How long before I see a difference?
How long before I see a difference?
Skin doesn't change overnight — the outer layer renews itself roughly every 28 to 30 days. In our experience, both in clinic and from the feedback we receive, the clearest difference tends to emerge after consistent use over three to four weeks, so give it a fair trial and keep applying it every day.
If you are not happy for any reason, tell us within 30 days of it arriving and we will refund you in full under our 30-Day Skin Promise, even if the tube has been opened.

Feels more natural than other creams and works well for my baby’s eczema
Been using this cream for my little one for over a month now. So far I’ve found it to be very good when using it on the eczema prone areas of the skin morning and night as instructed.
The cream gives a good thick coverage of the skin and doesn’t seem to leave a horrible greasy residue after.
It’s nice to know it’s mostly natural ingredients as the last eczema cream we were using wasn't as effective as this and full of all sorts of chemicals.
The real test will be next summer when my little one’s eczema flare ups worsen on the hot sweaty days.
We’ve committed to getting it monthly now to save money.
Here’s a polished version of your review:
I absolutely love this product! It’s incredibly gentle and works brilliantly. My daughter used to cry when we applied other creams, but not with this one—it’s been a game-changer for her skin. The ordering process was seamless, and delivery was quick and efficient. I highly recommend it!
