It is free from parabens, paraffin and perfume — the ingredients most likely to cause irritation in newborns — and contains no fragrance or harsh preservatives. It has been dermatologically tested and is suitable for the whole family.

Yes. Ovée is a moisturiser (emollient), not a medicine, and is safe to use alongside any prescribed topical treatment your GP or dermatologist has recommended. As a general rule, apply Ovée first and allow a few minutes for it to absorb before applying any prescribed cream on top. If you are unsure, please check with your child’s doctor.

Most baby creams are formulated by cosmetics companies and dermatologist-tested afterwards. Ovée is the other way around — created from scratch by Dr Tim Clayton, a Consultant Paediatric Dermatologist with 25+ years of clinical experience treating children with eczema.

The formula is also paraffin-free (paraffin is the primary ingredient in many leading emollient creams), and uses natural oils — colloidal oat, shea butter, sunflower oil, avocado oil — chosen for their skin-barrier supporting evidence rather than label appeal.
